Maximum Wear - Innovative Ways to Style Your Sarong

Baiia is committed to lessening our impact on the planet through innovative designs that last beyond any fast fashion trends and utilise sustainable fabrics and practices. With longevity at the forefront, these unique styles allow wearers to go beyond their imagination with their endless combinations, complimenting your journey throughout the many stages of life. If you’re looking for some ways to maximise wear, we have put together a few suggestions on how you can style your Sarong to get the most out of your wardrobe.
WHY THE SARONG? LESS IS MORE FOR YOUR WARDROBE AND THE ENVIRONMENT!
Baiia’s philosophy of using minimal resources, reducing waste, and lessening our impact on the environment all come together in our versatile, functional, and beautiful designs - and the sarong is no different! Not only does the sarong flatter women of all shapes and sizes, it is a core addition to the Baiia collection that encourages maximum wear out of minimal resources - plus it’s a beautiful piece on its own or paired with your favourite Baiia look. Baiia's strong value on sustainability seeks to help our customers reduce overconsumption, and instead give value to the pieces we already have. By pairing a Sarong with your Baiia suit, you can easily and instantly be brunch or beach ready with endless looks that compliment your full and busy life! Learning to work with what you’ve got through creative pairing makes our designs pieces that will be by your side for years to come.
HOW TO STYLE: WEAR YOUR SARONG AS A DRESS, A TOP, OR A SKIRT - THE STYLING OPPORTUNITIES ARE ENDLESS!

Baiia’s founder, Amber walks you through her favourite ways to create a timeless summer look with our Sarong in her styling tutorial on our instagram:

SUMMER CRISS CROSS TOP
To create the perfect supported cross top for a hot summer day, fold our Baiia Sarong lengthwise, letting the folded Sarong sit around the neck like a scarf before crossing it over the chest area, finishing the look by tying it off in the back. Add an additional Sarong in a different colour by weaving the Sarong through the front cross section to create a look that not only pops with colour, but adds more coverage to this new look! This cross top can be paired with our Baiia Reversible Bikini BottomsWrapsuit and the Isla Skirt.

MIDI WRAPSKIRT

A quick look that can take you from strolling the beach to being a perfect cover up after the water is the Baiia Sarong midi wrap skirt! Start with the Sarong unfolded, grabbing each corner length wise, have the Sarong cover the back before wrapping the fabric around the waist, tying off the fabric either at the front or on the side of the body. Adjust length by rolling the fabric at the waist. Pair this midi wrap skirt with the summer criss cross top, our Baiia Reversible Bikini Wrap top or any of the Baiia  Wrapsuits.

HALTER MIDI WRAP DRESS

Our  Sarong is the perfect addition when travelling as the endless options can take you from a hot day at the beach to your evening reservations with our halter midi wrap dress look. Similar to the midi wrap skirt, start with the fabric covering your back as you cross the corners length wise in front of your chest, wrapping the fabric around the neck to tie off at the back. This dress can be combined with other Baiia swimwear pieces, like the wrap tie or the  Baiia Reversible Bikini Bottoms and  Wrapsuit to add more personality to this classic fit!

Take a chapter out of the Baiia book, embrace a few staple pieces with endless options that can celebrate your life journey rather than a wardrobe full of one off pieces that end up discarded after rarely being worn.
