Fabric

This swim short has two sides: one is made of Polyester, and the other is made of Nylon. Both of which are Italian-made and recycled. The Nylon side is matte and more flexible than the Polyester side. Bikinis featuring both our signature polyester and nylon fabrics are more flexible than those with only Polyester.

Our signature Italian swimwear fabrics are made using regenerated polyester thread from pre and post-consumer waste. As this piece features shape-controlling properties and high technical performance, please expect it to feel firmer than regular swimwear.

No front rise seam for ultimate comfort and a flattering fit. Flatlock seams featured around thighs.

The longevity of your Swimwear will ultimately come down to how it is cared for. To ensure your Baiia remains in perfect condition, please keep the following in mind:

  • Hand-wash only in cold water
  • Do not soak, bleach, rub or wring
  • Do not iron or tumble dry
  • Lay flat to dry only
  • Dry in the shade
  • To avoid fabric from drying out, ensure any sand is removed from the garment.

If your order contains multiple items with one or more pre-order items, these will be sent together once the pre-order item(s) are ready for dispatch. "The suit was extremely restrictive. It also cut in at the legs so any body sculpting was irrelevant. The fabric was high quality and beautiful, but just didn’t look great on me. I sent it back and plan to change sizing and try again with a different print. Additionally the return policy is quite unfortunate. Such an expensive product to be completely non-refundable ."

"This is the second swim suit I have ordered from Baiia. I enjoyed the first one so much that I didn't even shop around when looking for a new suit. Now, after getting my new suit, I'm so sad that there is a malfunction with it. What makes it even worse is I'm discovering this malfunction 3 days before leaving for the trip for which I purchased the suit."

"Fits true to size for me, nice and snug. Still think its overpriced for what you get. No refunds which is easier for the company but difficult for the customer to manage. Wearing the wrap top backwards doesnt actually look right, the cut around the arms doesnt translate quite right at the front."

The material is high quality.

"The material is high quality. However, it has no stretch. What that means, is that although I followed their online size guide, I was unable to get any of the pieces on to my body. So, I spent a lot of money for a bikini that does not fit. And I’ve since learned that returns are a little complicated and that I’ll have to pay to ship the pieces back. I think especially when we’re talking about something as finicky as swim wear, the process to return and resize should be as smooth as possible. I’m now hesitant to go through this process again and I’m likely to be a “one and done” customer"

"It didn’t fit anything like I thought it would and the material is thick and not stretchy. I was so so disappointed bc I was looking at these suits for months. Now all I can do is exchange and for over $300 this is very disappointing that I am not able to refund."

"I like how you can pull it up for more cheeks or down for more modesty. Would size down for sure since I have pretty narrow hips and they are not nearly as firmly tight as I prefer. I measured and chose based on the recommended size. It does seem to loosen with wear so yes, size down the bottoms for sure."

I was so excited for

"I was so excited for this purchase! After taking measurements and using the advised sizing for my stats, the suit I received was beyond tight. So tight that it was uncomfortable and unflattering. I have sent in for an exchange of sizes and hoping the new larger size will work out better. I was very frustrated to see that the only return is shopping credit or exchange. If I had known that going in I would not have order this very expensive suit."
